The Trailhead program is the start of your epic journey at Critical Mass. Our Winter 2024 Trailhead Cohort commences February 06, 2024.

As the Associate Market Researcher, you are excited to be part of a small market research team working in a fast-paced environment. Your role involves effectively communicating complex research through various mediums, including verbal, written, and presentations— but you’ve got that covered. You're eager to apply your analytical skills and gain hands-on experience in qualitative and quantitative research, analysis, and reporting. Additionally, if you have prior experience in qualitative market research and social science research, that would be a valuable asset.

You Will:

  • Support the management of private, online market research communities, including communicating results, managing support emails, and more to keep members engaged.
  • Initiate, plan, and conduct market research via primary and secondary sources. 
  • Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to derive insights and discover unmet audience needs. 
  • Utilize creative data exploration to identify digital solutions mapped against identified consumer needs. 

You Have:

  • Rudimentary knowledge of the research process, including requirements, methodology design, recruitment/screeners, discussion guides, survey instruments, data analysis, and reporting. 
  • Proven ability to synthesize and analyze complex information. 
  • Ability to discern both the tactical and strategic implications of research findings. 
  • Ability to communicate complex subject matter verbally, in writing, and through presentations. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments. 
  • A sense of curiosity in both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of consumer dynamics.
