The Associate Producer reports to the Sr. Producer, Editorial Content + Audience Growth. They will assist the video and podcast teams in developing and producing video and audio content for our audience. This person eats and sleeps the latest media trends, they stay on top of viral and pop culture moments and instinctively source them for storytelling techniques in our content.

This role will work closely with all members of our team to assist in creating distinctive and best-in-class videos. The ideal candidate thrives in a highly collaborative environment and is looking to grow their skill set and expertise in video production. They contribute to brainstorms regularly, but don’t get married to ideas. They can give and receive feedback well. They are exceptionally organized, are data-driven and have experience operating under deadlines.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist producers in building pre-pro packets including subject matter research, location clearances, influencer lists, shoot schedules, booking travel, story development, etc.
  • Process invoices and organize budgets.
  • Track conversion and audience data across platforms.
  • Organize footage and project files during or after shoots with limited oversight. Upload and maintain assets in the server.
  • Gather assets for edits as requested.
  • Build optimized thumbnails and manage YouTube long form video uploads.
  • Build reporting documents as requested.

 What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years in an Associate Producer or Production Coordinator role for a digital media brand.
  • Follow and understand industry trends for optimized YouTube long form and short form video content.
  • Thrives in fast-paced and deadline-driven environments.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills including experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a collaborative team.
  • A passion for the brand’s content.

Compensation: 

  • Cash Compensation Range: $21.15/hr - $26.44/hr 

*Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience
