Join us in this new position to drive our Paid Search strategy. Taking the lead, you’ll manage paid search across segments and markets on behalf of all our brands. In doing so, you’ll play an integral role in our mission: to create and support specialized travel brands that change the world for the better.

On a daily basis you’ll develop, test, execute and optimize successful campaigns and strategies. You’ll have the opportunity to embrace innovation and research as well as new target groups, audiences, markets, and brands. You’ll work alongside the account management team to provide insights, reporting, and recommendations to our brands.

You will report directly to our Performance Marketing Lead and work in a growing, international Marketing team alongside nine other talented individuals. Your main working language will be German and English.

On daily basis you will
  • Manage campaign strategy for paid search across Google (including GDN & YouTube) as well as Yahoo/Bing:
  • Build campaigns - construct campaigns from scratch in German and English (from keywords to ad copy etc) which developing campaigns for other markets such as France using analytics skills and localization services.
  • Pace budgets - with conversion goals in mind, monitor spending on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for efficiency and maximum return to achieve commercial aims.
  • Report - you’ll distil Google Ads and Analytics data into insights, empowering our account management team to provide expert advice to brands on search strategy that meets goals and maximizes performance.
  • Innovate - you’re constantly researching new trends, you’re quick to react, bold and creative in suggestion and logical and data-driven in your approach to form, test and implement from solid hypotheses.
The basics you bring along
  • Have 1+ year hands-on, direct experience of paid search campaign building, bidding and optimization - whether at an agency or in-house.
  • You are able to write fluent German and English ad copy.
  • You are literate in Google Ads and Analytics.
  • You are logical and data-driven to formulate a solid hypothesis, then test it out and iterate. 
  • You have strong project management skills: multitasking and making decisions is all in a day’s work.
  • You are always reading about the latest developments in paid search and associated disciplines.
  • Are based in Berlin, looking to relocate to Berlin or are located in a time zone of <6 hrs from Berlin.
 You can impress us even more with
  • Experience working with high budgets and multi-brand accounts.
  • Experience working for clients/brands in the travel sector.
  • Experience in GMP (Search Ads 360, D&V 360, CM & Analytics 360).
  • Experience in Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and other channels such as programmatic.
  • Native-level language skills in French.
  • Passion for responsible travel and bringing cultures together.
