About the team

The Finance Technology Team sits within Finance and supports many IT systems which have an impact on the broader Finance function. There are several systems with NetSuite at the core. Boomi is used to integrate the systems together. As well as BAU support we are involved in projects which aim to simplify and automate. You will report into the Fin Tech Manager and can work under our hybrid working model – between London HQ and working from home. Please note, this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

About the role

Integration developer to build integrations for a large source to pay (S2P) project comprising Coupa, NetSuite, Boomi and other Finance systems. The developer will work with Business/Technology leaders, Enterprise Architects and end-users to develop a proposed solution and work with the technical team to develop and deploy the solution. We ask that you have expert level knowledge with Boomi integration platform, and experience in detailed requirements analysis, software design, testing, and deployment.

What you'll do

• Work on the S2P project for all integrations between Coupa, NetSuite, Boomi and other relevant systems
• Knowledge of API and SOA Design patterns for building solutions ground up using Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Guaranteed delivery, Message sequencing, Batch message processing, error handling and reconciliation mechanisms.
• Knowledge of Rest, SOAP, JSON, Web Services Interoperability, WS-* standards and ability to suggest, criticise and formulate solutions in multi-vendor and architecture committee meetings.
• Identify, analyse and design integration processes using Boomi
• Write technical and design documents for proposed solution
• Good understanding of API-based integration and micro-services design patterns & best practices
• Experience using Agile, Scrum and iterative development practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working as an Integration Developer and 4+ Boomi integration platform .
• Certification: Boomi Developer 1, 2
• Previous experience integrating with NetSuite
• Experience with all aspects of the system implementation process of system design, configuration, customisation, integration, testing and support including gathering requirements, designing the future state solution, the development objects related to their process scope, and supporting testing and post implementation support.
• Experience with XML, JMS, XSLT, WS-*, SOA/Integration, and API Management technologies and standards
• Experience applying Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts including REST-ful and SOAP-based services
• Experienced in both Agile and waterfall methodologies
• Useful Experience
• Previous experience integration NetSuite and Coupa
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field
• TOGAF certification preferred, Boomi certification
• Useful Personal Attributes
• Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in development, service & delivery
• Is experienced in technology awareness
