Critical Mass is hiring a Business Analyst project employee! As a Business Analyst, you will work alongside the Project Delivery team in processing business analysis, needs assessment, and solution definition throughout the systems development lifecycle, gathering and documenting product requirements. You are a natural problem solver and communicate in an empathetic, positive, and friendly manner, with a focus on clarifying business needs and providing excellent customer service.

You Will:

• Contribute to the analysis of business processes to identify, improve, and help clarify requirements
• Organize documents for projects, proposals, and other documentation involving business processes and product requirements
• Facilitates analysis, classification and documentation of requirements
• Contribute to improvements and changes to business processes
• Participate actively in the development of testing strategies and plans
• Use data and process modeling tools to identify and clarify requirements
• Understand IT and project management concepts and use desktop productivity applications at a superior level

You Have:

• Post-secondary, diploma, or certificate in a related field
• 3-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software or interactive web development initiatives
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel including data entry and formatting, sorting and filtering, visualization (through charts and graphs), and statistical analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional creative thinking and problem solving skill for clarifying requirements related issues
• Broad understanding of programs, projects and knowledge management processes and toolsets
• Experience collaborating with UX/UI teams
• Knowledge of user-centered content development, interface design, information architecture, digital branding and marketing communications
• Aptitude and desire to learn content development, interface design, information architecture, digital branding, and marketing communications
