About The Role:
As Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for translating Taskrabbit’s global external partnerships strategy into a regional go-to-market plan that considers the needs and dynamics of Taskrabbit’s European market. You will source new leads, pitch Taskrabbit’s value and services to prospective partners, close and bring qualified partners onboard, and nurture and deepen partner relationships over time. You will work in a highly cross-functional capacity, collaborating regularly with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure the continual growth of Taskrabbit’s European partners.
In addition to being able to share recent examples of both individual and team success as a business development or partner management lead, strong candidates will be persuasive, clear, and engaging communicators who can readily speak to their collaborative approach to driving results. Ideal candidates will have a keen interest in the sharing economy, a nuanced understanding of Taskrabbit’s products and platform, and the ability to describe how they will forge new b2b partnerships to further Taskrabbit’s mission and achieve ambitious revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
- Build, socialise, and execute a go-to-market strategy that accelerates partner acquisition and revenue growth in Europe.
- Identify, segment, prioritise, and contact businesses that could benefit from a partnership with Taskrabbit and the services provided by Taskers on our platform.
- Pitch the Taskrabbit value proposition to prospective partners, helping them understand how the platform works and how Taskrabbit benefits their customers.
- Manage relationships and communication with existing partners, connecting with them regularly to create incremental value for both parties.
- Analyse and report on performance data, sharing results with key stakeholders and advising leadership teams on future strategic business decisions.
- Prioritise, execute, and influence performance improvement actions, both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple teams and countries to achieve business aims and individual OKRs.
Requirements:
- Based in London and ability to work in a central London office 2-3 days per week.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in sales, business development, and/or account management.
- Comfortable operating in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment – start-up experience or experience in new ventures within larger tech companies a plus.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical and operational execution skills.
- This role will require occasional travel and is a hybrid role with some days spent working from home and others in an office in central London.
Compensation & Benefits:
At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent and equitable. Total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks. The annual gross pay for this position is £64,500 - £80,000. This is the base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits.
