The role: We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to analyze our product usage, content, and operational data, and work with stakeholders to drive efficiency, quality, and scale.

You will report to the Director of Strategic Insights and work primarily with stakeholders across all functions in Product. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other Business and Data Intelligence Analysts across Collibra to develop a culture of data-driven decision-making.

This is a hybrid role based in our Prague office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.

Business Intelligence Analysts at Collibra are responsible for
  • Work hand-in-hand with subject matter experts to define key metrics and data gathering methodologies for various exciting initiatives, focusing mainly on product, customer, and user analytics.
  • Design, develop, and continuously improve useful and user-friendly reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Create engaging dashboards and visualizations to showcase key metrics.
  • Turn complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for internal stakeholders and leaders.
You have
  • 2+ years of experience in analytics and reporting, preferably in a SaaS context.
  • Experience visualizing data effectively. You can make data tell the story, using business intelligence tools like Tableau, Looker or Power BI.
  • Experience in data exploration and wrangling. You can interrogate data stored in relational databases with SQL and productionalize data pipelines using tools like dbt. Programming experience with Python and/or Java is a plus.
  • Experience in data modeling. You operate with an understanding of thoughtful model design, query performance, and code maintainability.
  • Exposure to SaaS productivity tools. You’ve used or understand the purpose of tools like Jira, Salesforce, Pendo, Centercode, Aha!, Zendesk and Collibra.
  • Experience in working with statistics. You know the risks of using averages, and maybe how to correctly choose a regression type.
  • Eligible to work in Belgium.

Measures of success
  • First month: Build relationships within the Strategic Insights team, understand our tools, processes, and data landscape, and start supporting existing reporting initiatives.
  • Third month: Establish relationships with key people outside the team, continuously improve existing reporting initiatives, and start developing your own.
  • Sixth month: Successfully roll out your first data product for Product.
