Who We AreThe EU Marketing Team drives initiatives across Performance Marketing, Onsite Marketing, CRM & Email, Social Media, Brand & Content Strategy, and Promotional Planning. We develop data-driven strategies to enhance engagement, boost conversion, and accelerate Wayfair’s growth across European markets.
As a collaborative, customer-focused team, we craft cross-channel strategies that seamlessly integrate promotional, functional, and brand messaging. Partnering with Commercial, Product, and Creative teams, we refine customer touchpoints, optimize marketing efficiency, and drive measurable results.
With a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and localized execution, we continuously adapt to evolving customer needs while aligning with Wayfair’s global marketing vision.
What You'll Do:- Develop Campaign and Content Strategies: Craft marketing & content strategies tailored to specific audiences and platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives, audience insights, and seasonal priorities.
- Plan and Organise Campaigns: Create and maintain comprehensive campaign & content calendars that integrate key moments, themes, and channels, including Onsite Marketing, Email, Online Video, Paid Social, and Organic Social.
- Tailor Messaging and Formats: Define content formats and messaging strategies to resonate with target audiences across various platforms while maintaining alignment with Wayfair’s brand vision and marketing goals.
- Content Creation and Collaboration: Partner with internal creative teams and external agencies to produce high-quality, engaging content across all marketing channels.
- Drive Innovation: Experiment with innovative storytelling formats and emerging platforms to enhance engagement and drive differentiation, ensuring Wayfair stays ahead of industry trends.
- Maintain Brand Consistency: Establish and oversee processes for content approval, updates, and adherence to brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and tone of voice.
- Execute Go-to-Market Strategies: Collaborate with the Brand & Consumer Insights Strategist to develop and execute seasonal and product-specific go-to-market plans that incorporate business priorities, product focus, competitive insights, and market trends.
- Strengthen Brand Differentiation: Drive strong brand and product differentiation through innovative content strategies and compelling messaging that resonate with target audiences.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Align content and campaigns with broader business goals and brand standards by collaborating closely with brand strategy, creative, and performance marketing teams.
- Audience Research and Insights: Work with the Brand & Consumer Insights Strategist to conduct research on audience preferences, behaviors, and content needs, ensuring strategies are data-driven and impactful.
- Optimize Content for SEO: Implement SEO best practices and conduct keyword research to improve organic visibility and drive traffic.
- Analyze and Report Performance: Use analytics tools to assess campaign and content performance, generating actionable insights and recommendations to optimize future initiatives. Prepare detailed performance reports that highlight outcomes, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Media Impact Tracking: Ensure continuous tracking of campaigns to assess their impact and optimize performance to meet objectives. Manage third-party research agencies to support impact assessment and validation. Develop and oversee a Media Impact Tracking Roadmap to ensure a structured and strategic approach to measuring effectiveness over time.
- Address Content Gaps: Identify and resolve content gaps, proposing innovative ideas to enhance storytelling and improve engagement.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply a test-and-learn approach to refine tactics, formats, and strategies, integrating emerging platforms and industry trends to ensure strategies remain forward-thinking and effective.
- Bachelor’s degree in Brand, Marketing, Communications or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Campaign Management, Content Strategy, or a similar role (e.g. e-commerce, retail, or advertising agency).
- Proven success in delivering omni-channel marketing campaigns and content strategies for the UK market.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a focus on creating impactful, integrated campaigns and content strategies.
- Ability to review, interpret, and provide constructive, high-quality feedback on creative content developed against your strategies, ensuring strong collaboration, a supportive environment, and opportunities for growth across all teams.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to develop tailored content for diverse platforms and target audiences.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of handling complex processes and managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting performance data, identifying insights, and applying data-driven decision-making to optimize strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, adept at aligning cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration to achieve shared objectives.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive, results-oriented approach to driving business impact.
- Ability to set a high standard and evaluate high-quality creative and content output from internal and external partners, ensuring a consistent and cohesive content approach.
- In-depth understanding of UK market trends, audience behaviors, and competitive dynamics.
- Ability to work independently, taking ownership of initiatives while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English.
