What you will do:
As a Cash Collection agent, you will be responsible to manage the recovery process of outstanding debtors in Spanish market, with outbound and incoming calls. You come in after the first bills become due and until the end of the process (receipt or transfer to a collection agency). To do that, you will have to manage various topics:
- Make outbound collection calls to debtors to recover outstanding bills
- Answer the questions of the customers by phone or email
- Negotiate payment by credit card, direct debit, transfer
- Establish payment plan schemes and schedules for large outstanding debts
- Provide customers with accounting statements and update clients bank information
- Investigate billing issues and, in case of need, request credit notes/refunds
- Validate customers open balances in case of refund request
- Republish Restaurants in our platform once they have paid their pending invoices
- Request and prepare paperwork in the event of bankruptcy notifications
- Interaction and monitoring with external collection agency
- Provide inputs to the CashCo Team Leader on potential improvements within the team
Who You Are
- You speak Spanish as native and conversational English. Any other European language is a plus.
- You preferably already worked 2 years in a similar position
- You have good negotiation and communication skills (spoken and written)
- You are dynamic, organized, with a methodical approach and attention to detail
- You have strong customer focus and you are a team player
- You have the ability to work under pressure to attain company and team objectives
- You must be comfortable with Excel
- You have experience in ERP and Salesforce
