As we continue to shape the future of transportation, we are now looking for an innovative Category Manager (indirect Procurement) at our Stockholm headquarters.YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As the Category Manager (Indirect Procurement) you will have the responsibility for indirect procurement in selected areas and lead the process from spend analysis, sourcing, negotiation and contract set-up. Building supplier relationships, and managing cost to achieve optimal solutions and minimise total cost of ownership. In this role you will collaborate closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain team and other senior stakeholders and lead cost benchmark studies, negotiation and establish an efficient value chain and reduce cost. 

• Set up an optimal structure for the supply base
• Drive cost optimisation and improvement programs in collaboration with stakeholders, aiming to achieve market benchmarks
• Lead sourcing efforts for indirect categories, actively scouting the market for new suppliers and offers
• Manage contracting, supplier relationships, and performance evaluations, ensuring long-term partnerships with key suppliers. Conduct negotiations with new and existing suppliers, ensuring high availability of key and critical categories
• Proactively identify supply risks and apply relevant strategies, while serving as a subject matter expert in procurement, addressing supplier development questions for the organisation

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK

We're seeking an individual with a strategic mindset who is proactive, energetic, and accountable, unafraid to challenge the status quo and advocate for procurement in addition to we believe the right person possesses these skills: 

• Several years of experience in purchasing and/or procurement
• Proven ability to manage improvement projects with challenging deadlines, demonstrating strong project management skills in handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proven strong negotiator with superior interpersonal skills, wide commercial interest, and credibility built through business insight and leadership
• Have some experience within IT, with a focus on software and license purchasing and sourcing would be a merit
• Independent and self-reliant, with the ability to negotiate effectively
