Compensation Analyst

Our People team is looking for a Compensation Analyst to be part of the Global Compensation Operations org within the Total Reward team. This is an individual contributor role and will be based in North America, preferably in the East Coast time zone, for optimal overlap with global stakeholders. This role provides a great opportunity to learn global practices and work with far spread team members and stakeholders.
The Compensation Operations org oversees the Compensation philosophy, programs and related technology and process infrastructure, including the compensation cycles, technology transformation, and typical operations activities (including data audits, job structure maintenance, budgeting, survey submissions and analysis, total comp analysis etc).
Reporting LineThis role will report into the Sr Manager, Comp Operations and have accountability to be the day to day lead of the compensation cycle with all related activities such as design, partnership with the technical teams, communication, budgeting and delivery of the cycle for a successful completion.
Key Responsibilities- Compensation Cycle Accountabilities
- Be the primary point of contact for the day to day activities of the compensation cycles for cross functional teams such as HRIS, Comp Partners, HR Business Partners etc
- Responsible for ensuring timely initiation and completion of the compensation cycle, with focus on data quality and accuracy
- Responsible for maintaining a strong partnership with the HRIS teams to deliver the cycle requirements
- Creating and delivering communications as needed on behalf of the compensation team
- Engaging with HRBPs and Comp partners regularly for enhancements, updates and successful delivery. Responsible for escalating issues early in the process where appropriate
- Partner with the Comp Pod team, based in India and drive efficiencies and enhancements via the Pod
- Own data audits, job structure setups in SuccessFactors and subsequent quality assurance
- Partner with HR Shared Services and HRIS teams and oversee the actions from various data audits for timely and accurate updates in affected systems
- Continue to build on process efficiencies and system designs for improve experience and data quality
- Broader Projects and Analytical support
- Play a key role in the reward transformation agenda on behalf of the global compensation team
- Specific project work may include global salary and equity band competitive reviews, job architecture and technology enhancements (may include Robotic Process Automations, and implementation of new technologies, such as GenAI capabilities etc)
- Ad-hoc analytical support to reward leadership for organizational deliverables such as budgeting, competitive analysis etc
- Relevant Experience
- 3+ years of meaningful analytical experience in Compensation. Experience in an analytical capacity is an essential requirement
- Confidence in working with a myriad of stakeholders in a multi-time zone, complex and evolving business, including cross functional team members, HR Business Partners, Finance Partners, Technology Partners, etc
- Advanced skills in MS Office / G-Suite, especially GSheets, with an ability to navigate a multi-layered Compensation Technology Stack (including Tableau, SuccessFactors, and other systems)
- Key Navigation Skills
- Strong communicator via all channels (in person, online, in writing) and able to form strong working relationships both in person and virtually. You will be able to operate in a fast paced environment, prioritize workload and manage multiple deliverables
- Highly organised, you will need to be detail oriented, enjoy multi-tasking and have excellent follow through skills
- You will be process oriented and enjoy creating process and structure where there may be ambiguity and be skilled at finding creative solutions to non-obvious problems. On any given day, you could find yourself in the operational/tactical details, followed by meetings focused on vision / strategy!
- Ideally you will have experience of working remotely and/or internationally coordinating with peers and team members globally and understand the challenges and opportunities of remote working and remote communication including self management on timelines and deliverables
- Ability to succeed in a collaborative, startup-paced environment, with good business acumen

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in Canada is:$62,000—$86,000 CAD
