About the Team
The mission of the legal department at Databricks is to help scale the business overall while ensuring governance and compliance, contributing to customer and corporate security, and corporate risk management and mitigation.
What we look for
Databricks is looking for an experienced Contracts Analyst to support the Commercial Legal team. The Contracts Analyst will report into Databricks' Commercial Legal leadership and be an important part of the team responsible for providing legal support for Databricks' revenue generation activities.
The Contracts Analyst has three or more years of relevant experience: (1) tracking and managing internal multi-phase projects; (2) helping maintain records and report metrics; (3) performing research and data collection activities; and (4) collaborating with internal legal and business stakeholders to assist with contract negotiations.
The impact you will have
- You will be responsible for contracts' renewal process including review and processing of agreements and amendments
- You will participate in NDA reviews
- You will provide general support to your legal colleagues negotiating contracts, including assisting with the gathering of internal approvals and helping to obtain signatures
- You will be responsible for keeping Legal repositories/systems accurate and up-to-date
- You will operate in a self-directed manner and work closely with your team to prioritize matters working through quarterly sales' cycles

What we look for
- Three or more years of experience working with an in-house legal team or within a legal firm
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience reviewing and understanding legal documents and contracts (MSA, NDA, amendments, etc.)
- Demonstrable experience supporting processes that create efficiency within a legal team in a fast-scaling business
- Understanding of the tools used by in-house commercial legal teams to facilitate the contracting process for revenue, including tools used for contract generation and routing (e.g., SFDC, CPQ and CLM), and signatures (e.g., DocuSign)
Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. Zone 3 Pay Range$65,600—$116,000 USD
