Job Title: Co-op, Finance

Location: #5 East 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, or Toronto, Ontario 

Term: 4 months

Overview:

Our Finance, Data Analysis & Visualization, Revenue and Sales Operations teams are looking for motivated and proactive Finance co-op students to join us for the Summer 2024 term. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, learning and contributing to various Finance functions while developing their skills.

Responsibilities by Team (could include but are not limited to):

Data Analysis & Visualization Team (1 position)

  • Modifying existing reports and dashboards utilizing tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and Tableau.
  • Provide support for analysts in tracking, monitoring and disseminating key metrics and measures to internal stakeholders.
  • Support internal projects and initiatives to help improve data hygiene, enablement and accuracy.
  • Aid in facilitating collaboration with stakeholders by developing presentations and documentations in partnership with analysts to communicate key findings.

Accounting & Controllership Team (1 position)

  • Support the maintenance of general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Help identify areas for process improvement within the accounting and finance functions and contribute to the implementation of efficiency initiatives.
  • Assis in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, under the supervision of senior staff
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with departments such as FP&A, Revenue operations, and IT to address financial and accounting-related issues.

Revenue & Sales Operations Teams (2 positions)

  • Review of product SKUs within systems to ensure all attributes are populated accurately.
  • Review of customer data with a goal of identifying duplicates, parent/child relationships and accurate firmographic data.
  • Support in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce.  Update User Profiles, Accounts and Opportunities as a result of employee role changes, employee departures, and new hires.
  • Support in the preparation of bulk SFDC updates for Accounts and Opportunities as requested by the GRO org.
  • Manage the weekly X (formerly Twitter) escalation process for approval of Gov Prospect accounts in support of the New Business team.
  • Support in the tagging of our product feedback with the goal of ensuring that feedback is tagged accurately and consistently across all survey programs in alignment with our taxonomy framework.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant post-Grad, Bachelor's or Master's program, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Proficient in Google suite, particularly Sheets and Decks.
  • Demonstrated interest in the desired team and eagerness to learn.

Duration: This is a co-op position with a duration of 4 months.

Canada Pay Range For This Role$46,100—$55,400 CAD
