ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Digital Copywriter creates powerful and impactful copy for digital and social collateral.  

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reporting to the Group Account Director, the Digital Copywriter sits within a team of 3

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Write copy across all digital channels including social media, video, email, banners, website, etc. 
  • Collaborate with creative team to conceptualise big ideas and write copy on campaign deliverables (i.e. social media campaigns, email campaigns, landing pages, websites etc.)
  • Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
  • See projects through the whole creative process – from concept, copy, design collaboration to production
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure standards are met
  • Drive brand consistency across all communications
  • Use SEO principles to maximize content reach and search rankings
  • Keep abreast of digital and advertising trends in accordance with industry best practice 

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Tertiary qualification in Digital Copywriting/Copywriting
  • Proficient in MS Office365 (i.e. Word/Excel/PowerPoint/MS Teams/OneDrive etc.)
  • Minimum 5- 6 years working experience as a Digital Copywriter in an Advertising Agency or Digital Advertising Agency
  • Digital (well versed in Digital and all things social media)
  • Good understanding of social media KPI's
  • A good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong multitasking skills (ability to work on more than one brief at any given time)
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
