Red Ventures is excited to welcome a Staff Accountant to our team. This person will be responsible for the financial accounting and analysis for several business units. Ideal candidates will possess a fun, positive, energetic attitude and thrive in a fast-paced, and dynamic work environment. This position will have an immediate impact on Red Ventures and daily exposure to our executive leadership team. This position will report to our Fort Mill, SC campus four days per week..

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and record routine journal entries to assist with the monthly close process 
• Maintain detailed account reconciliations for assigned accounts 
• Assist in the preparation of internal financial statements 
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and information
• Assess current accounting operations and identify areas for improvement
• Assist in the development of process documentation
• Maintain and monitor a sound internal control environment
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes
• Support special projects as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance with a strong academic performance
• 1-3 years of prior accounting experience
• Proficiency using financial systems and reporting packages
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills
• Good organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a team player, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues

Compensation:

• Cash Compensation Range: $50,000-$80,000**Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience
