Our Customer Communications team oversees email, push notifications, and SMS–some of the largest and most innovative marketing channels at Wayfair. Our mission is to drive customer growth and loyalty through a rigorous understanding of what our customer needs and how they behave – meeting those needs via a continuous innovation and testing agenda on our in-house platforms and algorithms. This role is responsible for analytics, campaign planning, and execution across our Specialty Retail Brands–AllModern, Birch Lane, and Joss & Main.

We support large and visible channels – you will contribute to a large share of topline revenue and have the attention of the most senior leaders at Wayfair–from the General Manager and Chief Marketing Officer of the Specialty Retail Brands to the creative and data science leads. You will execute against a ~3 month roadmap driving innovation for Customer Communications while contributing to broader marketing KPIs. 

You will execute key campaigns across all channels–bringing seasonal, promotional, and other key messages to life while optimizing for performance and the customer experience. You will combine your understanding of our customers with a thorough understanding of our highly technical and complex tech stack and data science algorithms to drive product development and enhancements.

You will be challenged and grow to new heights - the learning curve is steep and you will develop and flex an extremely diverse set of skills. 

 What You'll Do:

  • Manage cross-functional testing, and mining customer data to uncover insights that drive incremental customer lifetime value
  • Drive key insights to support the channel roadmap–identifying, sizing, and continuously testing on the millions of notifications we send every week and pursuing new opportunities for channel growth
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute key campaigns, run tests, and uncover new ideas while optimizing for the customer experience 
  • Leverage deep analytics to root cause trends and develop strategic, data driven solutions to complex business problems
  • Execute major promotional events across email, SMS, and push notifications 

What You'll Need:

  • 1-2+ years of experience ideally in digital marketing, data science, management consulting, finance, and/or corporate strategy with an analytical emphasis
  • Collaborative team player who wants to see themselves and others thrive.
  • Proven record of high performance in a fast and rapidly evolving environment
  • A customer-first mindset with a desire for creative problem solving
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Ability to independently own and execute on solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, learn quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Note - This is a hybrid role based out of our Boston office (4 days/week in office, 1 day/week remote)
