We are a growing team looking for a Customer Service Manager Logistics in the Operations department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Milan office.
About The Role
As a Customer Service Manager Logistics you will guide our team in managing clients’ daily communications. You will report to the Sr. Career Executive and you will collaborate with different departments, playing a leadership role in achieving the company's objectives.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Manage the account management team, driving full achievement of company targets and taking care of customer satisfaction;
- Act as the main point of contact for customer management by acting responsibly and promptly;
- Implement and develop effective action plans to ensure KPIs related to service quality are met;
- Maintain a system of key performance indicators useful for monitoring KPis;
- Conduct analysis about our customer network and propose actions to improve relationships and performance;
- Employ creative problem-solving skills to navigate negotiations and complex customer conversations;
- Coordinate with the Career Executive to ensure that the carriers receive an exceptional service;
- Develop your team's skills, providing constructive feedback and fostering the spread of our culture and values, and act as a mentor contributing to the creation of a succession approach.
PREFERABLY YOU HAVE:
- 4+ years experience in a freight forwarder or a logistics company (preferably in Transportation/Linehaul/Couriers);
- Experience in people management, especially in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high demanding clients;
- Experience in using data to analyze and track key metrics;
- A good knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Great attention to details and an organized approach;
- A proactive mindset and a great problem solver attitude;
- The ability to communicate fluently both in Italian and English.
