YOUR MISSION

You will become an integral part of the Q-Commerce data team, focusing on the Micro Fulfillment Centers (MFC) business unit to enhance our promise of fast and convenient grocery delivery. As an experienced Data Analyst, you will be the keystone for analytics and reporting, providing actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the Q-Commerce department. Your expertise will be pivotal in analyzing supply chain efficiency, optimizing product assortment and pricing, improving store operations, and managing labor costs and scheduling.

THE JOURNEY

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from various sectors within the Q-Commerce department to understand their data needs and deliver comprehensive analytics.
  • Conduct in-depth supply chain analysis to monitor supplier performance, stock levels, and product availability, ensuring a seamless flow from warehouse to customer.
  • Utilize data to inform category management, determining the optimal product mix and pricing strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Analyze store operations to identify areas for improvement, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our MFCs.
  • Manage labor analytics, providing insights on staffing costs and scheduling optimization for store pickers and dedicated couriers.
  • Develop and maintain robust reporting systems and dashboards that provide clear visibility into key performance indicators.
  • Work closely with data engineers to leverage and improve data products, ensuring the availability of high-quality data for analysis.
  • Uphold the highest standards of data quality, implementing rigorous validation processes to ensure accuracy and integrity in all reporting.
  • Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making within the Q-Commerce department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Excel in both descriptive and diagnostic analytics. This means being able to pull trends from raw data and succinctly describe what happened or is currently happening, as well as being able to take the analysis a step further and explain why.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 2-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a product or e-commerce environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for complex data analysis and manipulation.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar for creating insightful visualizations and dashboards.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain analytics, category management, operations, and labor management is a plus.
  • Proven track record of translating data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex projects.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach, with an eagerness to take on new challenges and drive impactful results.
