About this Role

This role is responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality documentation, examples, and how-to guides for Ory's products, ensuring users can easily understand and use Ory's offerings.

Key Tasks and Deliverables

  • Write comprehensive guides on setting up the SDK in various languages, such as Ruby.
  • Develop example code and tests to demonstrate Ory’s functionalities.
  • Collaborate with the Ory Open Source community to expand and improve documentation.
  • Create and update user-facing documentation, ensuring clarity and usability.
  • Apply frameworks like Diátaxis to structure and organize documentation effectively.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Ruby, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • English C2 or Native English speaker with excellent written communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Writing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience writing technical documentation and examples for software products.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like Diátaxis and best practices in documentation.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and user-focused content.
