THE WORK:
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team in Lausanne.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Work with the development team to package and deliver our software solution,
- Establish and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for blockchain applications,
- Conduct thorough testing of our SaaS solution components and deploy updates securely,
- Implement robust security measures to safeguard the SaaS product from potential vulnerabilities and attacks,
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for efficient management of our SaaS infrastructure,
- Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles to manage resources effectively,
- Monitor blockchain performance metrics and proactively optimize for improved speed and efficiency,
- Conduct load testing and analysis to identify and resolve bottlenecks,
- Lead and mentor junior DevOps team members with a focus on blockchain technologies,
- Collaborate closely with blockchain developers, researchers, and stakeholders to align infrastructure requirements with development goals.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience),
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a blockchain-focused environment, with a minimum of 5 years of experience,
- Experience with decentralized protocols, consensus algorithms, and smart contract development,
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD or similar,
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Go, Terraform or DotNet,
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes,
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex blockchain issues,
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within a startup environment.
