DIGITAL CAMPAIGNER AT PURPOSE

Purpose is looking for Digital Campaigners across experience levels to join our Global Freelance Roster. We take on some of the most challenging issues in partnership with private and public sector clients across the world. We have teams located in New York, London, Sydney, Nairobi, Sao Paulo & New Delhi. 

We love building long-term relationships with talented freelancers, and want to proactively meet writers to learn what makes you unique before we’re in the process of staffing for project work. We’ll be reviewing applications on a weekly basis and reach out when the need arises.

Digital Campaigners work on our project teams to drive the execution of campaigns projects across digital channels. They have the ability to solve complex problems and oversee multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced and creative client service environment. They know the ins and outs of creating creative campaign concepts (eg: building theories of change, working on narrative building projects).

We're looking for folks with experience planning, writing, and distributing content strategically across social, email, and on websites. They will be managing paid social media properties with large followings, including creating and updating content calendars, and assisting with the technical integration to create a strategic and engaging content experience.

It would be great if you also know how to run and manage large scale paid media campaigns, including segmentation, testing, and reporting, and are generally comfortable with the tools and tactics of Digital Campaigning. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Digital Campaigner will join Purpose’s Campaigns team, working on digital campaign execution across a range of client-service and funder-driven projects. In this role, you will:

  • Work with projects teams to create and execute upon paid media strategy across digital channels
    • Specifically be responsible for managing Facebook Ads platform
  • Manage content production, create and oversee content flight plan, monitor and optimize content performance and create client reports on metrics
  • Work with project teams to help identify rapid-response campaign opportunities based on what’s happening in today’s news cycle
  • Work with our Strategy and Campaigns team to develop campaign strategies aimed at mobilizing target audiences to participate in creating meaningful social change
  • Work with our Creative team on developing campaign opportunities, and to co-develop compelling creative campaign concepts
  • Participate in brainstorms to develop creative content ideas for short films, websites and digital experiences, that complement on-the-ground activations
  • Plan, and execute content strategies across social, web and email 
  • Manage relationships with paid media vendors, web developers, designers, videographers, and creative consultants to advise strategic direction on campaign execution
