As we enter this next phase of growth, we are in search of a Director, Business Intelligence & Data Strategy.
The global Information Technology (IT) Function leads initiatives to align IT and Business Strategy, optimize end-to-end business processes, and leverage IT investments. These efforts enhance the competitive position of LogicMonitor through IT-enabled processes. The team also delivers cost-efficient Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services.
You will report directly to the CIO and lead the enterprise Data, Information, & Analytics (DIA) Service Line. This role is key to helping LogicMonitor accelerate growth by overseeing the DIA services, establishing a robust data foundation, and driving the development of scalable, effective capabilities with a strong return on investment. Your expertise and leadership, along with cross-organizational influencing skills, are crucial for developing and scaling data and analytics capabilities. This position is integral to LogicMonitor's multi-year IT transformation giving you an amazing opportunity to make your mark on LM.

- Transform the analytics landscape across LogicMonitor to the latest technology capabilities in a robust, cost effective manner with a high return on investment
- Lead collaboration with business executives and IT leaders to develop and deploy DIA service line roadmap and strategy
- Manage service strategy, technology roadmaps, & associated solution selection methodologies, using influence to drive business adoption of solutions
- Develop technology roadmaps and champion technology lifecycle management
- Establish master and transaction data management roadmap and strategy - enable appropriate governance framework (people, process, and tools)
- Oversee process maturity and technology for our service, advancing both to meet evolving business needs, ensuring the technical viability of existing solutions, and prioritizing system retirement based on business risk.
- Develop global resourcing & skill strategy to ensure achieving operational, project and DevOp commitments
- Negotiate service level agreements with business partners, and yourself and others accountable for consistently meeting commitments
- Evaluate service level performance, identifies issues, and develops plans to address shortcomings
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of service management processes, service level agreements and contracts, and assess whether they are appropriate for the agreed upon service level targets
- Monitor and report on service levels, and periodically reviews them with business partners to ensure they continue to meet business needs
- Ensure service is managed with a business and lifecycle focus
- Proactively seek customer strategy and feedback to improve service effectiveness and performance
- Liaise with process and service owners (strategy, design, transition, operations)
- Think freely to exploit technological advances that address business needs
- Determine and provide appropriate level and type of analytics and insights to make sound financial decisions

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Technical Science, MBA preferred
- 10-15 years of experience, including leadership with hands-on data management

Technical Qualifications:
- Statistical modeling, machine learning and optimization as a data scientist or team leader
- Understanding of data preparation, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. Ability to evaluate modeling approaches, and familiarity with development practices including testing, code design, complexity, and optimization
- Knowledge in AI related frameworks
- Experience using Snowflake in collaboration with other data visualization tools
- Experience with deploying cloud analytics capabilities

- Demonstrated leadership with strategic influencing, decision-making, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Effective relationship building and management both internally and externally
- Strong understanding of data methods to drive future business requirements, with the ability to comprehend implications of technology solutions
- Forward-thinking with a passion for process improvement, optimization, and process standardization
- Ability to instill a strong customer service and business-oriented ethic in the entire team. Outcome-oriented thinking for conceptualizing solutions and impact
- Thorough knowledge of database management and data manipulation. Proven success in a highly matrixed environment
- Strong bias for action and a track record of delivering results in complex and fluid environments
- Comfortable interacting with higher management, possessing composure and the ability to influence and negotiate. Interpersonally and politically savvy
- Successful management of change deployment, considering structural, strategic, and cultural factors
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities. Proven global program management skills, from idea inception to completion and thorough evaluation
- Capable of leading organizations and projects across a diverse customer base, adept at handling ambiguous and conflicting customer requirements and expectations
- Experience in working with staff-augmented vendors and strategic partners to deliver secure solutions to customers on time
- Experience developing/managing technology roadmaps & associated solution selection methodologies

LogicMonitor believes in pay transparency, so we provide the base salary ranges for all of our jobs in the United States. Actual base salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications. As part of our holistic compensation philosophy, LogicMonitor also offers many competitive elements in our total compensation package for US employees, such as bonus or commission compensation in addition to the base pay, an equity program for all full time employees, 401K matching, and other rewards.
