The Team:

Panel is a collection of teams within the PanDE (Product, Design, Engineering) organization that develop and maintain the feature set and systems that support the UserTesting Panel. The UserTesting Panel is a business critical asset which is formed of a platform that enables acquisition, onboarding, curation, distribution, invitation, administration and payment of our contributors.

What you will be doing: 

The Engineering Director leading Panel will drive the efficient and effective delivery of software, working with peers in Product and Design to ensure the appropriate definition, prioritization and scheduling of the future roadmap. The Engineering Director will lead engineering teams to drive product dvelopment and innovation. Collaborate on strategic direction, oversee processes, and ensure successful value delivery

What are we looking for:

• Set delivery goals and support managers in their achievement.

Project Oversight

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects.  
• Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders 
• Collaborate to prioritize, scope, requirements and timelines.
• Ensure deliveries address a defined ‘definition of done’
• Proven track record in delivery of large multi team software projects

Strategic Direction

• Develop strategic direction for technology initiatives
• Input into strategic direction for product development. 
• Identify opportunities for innovation
• Drive change and improvement in engineering processes.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Foster collaboration between the engineering teams and other functions
• Coordinate effective communication of vision and roadmap.
• Work with peers to deliver consistently across Engineering, Product and Design.
• Proven experience in managing cross functional relationships.
