What You Will Be Doing
As Pure continues to grow and thrive, the need for strategic and forward-looking HR partnership is paramount. As part of the EMEA HR team, this HR Business Partner will hold the primary strategic and tactical relationships for client groups in the UK and EMEA North. They will work collaboratively with business leaders and managers to create a great employee experience and high-performing environment. Key areas of responsibility include:
Client Coverage
- Act as key focal point for client group on all HR matters - providing expert strategic and operational HR advice, guidance and coaching
- Act as a sounding board to client group managers/leaders and provide professional advice and coaching
- Regularly assess client groups and promote best practice in people management, presenting complex matters, clearly and concisely to enable managers to implement people policies and solutions.
- Work within established global company policies and procedures and help business interpret and apply these appropriately.
- Lead the delivery of HR solutions within client groups.
- Partner with the wider HR team (HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Benefits and L&D) to share ideas, best practice and contribute towards driving a great employee experience.
Employee Relations
- Advise and coach managers/leaders with client groups and work with them to deal effectively with employee relations issues taking into account best practice, legislative framework, commercial bargaining agreements and commercial outcome
- Liaise with internal Legal Counsel on the above matters to minimise risk
- Take HR leadership for disciplinary, performance and grievance cases within client groups
Talent Management
- Align and drive talent management strategies within client groups for talent identification, development, recognition and retention
- Work proactively within client groups on succession planning for critical roles
- Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture where equality thrives in both opportunities and outcomes
- Using data points such as the annual Employee Pulse Survey (POP), take the HR lead for driving employee engagement strategies within client groups
- Interpret HR analytics and share these insights with senior leaders to enhance their understanding of people issues, advising and coaching them into appropriate solutions and improvements
Reward and Compensation
- Work collaboratively with managers during the annual compensation processes
- Advise managers to ensure appropriate compensation decisions are made based upon performance, parity of awards, promotion etc
- Liaise with Payroll to ensure monthly payroll accuracy for client groups
Operational Excellence
- Work collaboratively with the HR Operations team on administrative matters
- Ensure the sickness and absence policies are adhered to and that absences are correctly recorded, and action taken where appropriate
- Conduct exit interviews, analyse data trends and share insights
What You Bring To The Team
- 5+ years of HR Business Partner environment with direct client support - ideally within the IT and technology industry
- Experience supporting client groups based in the UK
- Fluent in English, other languages desirable
- Supporting client groups in other parts of EMEA a strong advantage
- Experience in the various HR functional areas including talent management, coaching and employee relations
- Dynamic and thoughtful HR professional who enjoys collaborating with others
- Growth mindset and can easily deal with ambiguity
- Strong business acumen, curious about the business and takes a commercially minded approach
- Comfortable working in a company which is growing and where change is constant!
- Great team player who can be relied on to deliver results
- Excellent social and communication skills (verbal and written)
