Engagement - .NET Test Automation Engineer
As a QA Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of software products and applications. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs in the software development lifecycle. As the person responsible for driving all QA efforts, your role shall be instrumental at achieving engineering excellence in the Engagement domain area

What we would like to see- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a QA Automation Engineer.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of SQL and ability to write basic sql queries.
- Programming skills in C#.
- Ability to test message(events-based) services.
- Ability to test SOAP and Rest APIs.
- Expertise in test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of QA theory, test patterns, and types and being able to apply those.
- Extensive experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Proficiency in API testing and knowledge of performance testing.
- Understanding of the principles of shift-left testing and test-driven development (TDD).
- Good at communication with excellent written and spoken English.
A taster of what you will be involved with
- Review cross-cutting requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, help to clarify those, and provide test plans, and test cases.
- Cover new and existing features with automated tests both functional and non-functional.
- Assist developers by reviewing test automation they develop. Make sure all features are covered with automated tests. And where not possible to automate – verified manually.
- Introduce new technologies, standards, and industry best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with development teams to establish and improve the automation process during test preparation.
- Define and implement testing processes for new and existing products, including performance testing when necessary.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation test scripts, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Document existing test procedures whilst creating new ones where necessary to ensure repeatability and compliance with established testing standards.
- Lead the implementation of automation testing procedures and continuously improve the QA automation process.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
- Provide high level effort and time estimates for automation testing activities within the team.
- Maintain quality standards by identifying and documenting software defects, tracking their progress, and ensuring timely resolution.
