At Lyft, we’re on a mission to improve lives through the world’s best transportation. That starts with building an inclusive, equitable, and empowered team—people from all backgrounds working together to solve meaningful problems.

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Business Travel and Concierge teams—key products that serve high-impact B2B use cases. You’ll directly manage the Business Travel engineering team and partner with another Engineering Manager to guide the Concierge team. These platforms help organizations streamline travel for employees, partners, and customers through APIs, integrations (e.g. Concur, Expensify), and dedicated tools.

This is a visible and strategic role with the opportunity to scale systems, build high-performing teams, and shape the product direction with partners across Product, Design, Sales, and Marketing.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers building business travel and transportation tools used by thousands of companies
  • Manage and coach an Engineering Manager on the Concierge team, fostering strong leadership, collaboration, and cross-team alignment
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define roadmaps, set strategy, and drive customer and business impact
  • Champion a strong engineering culture that values inclusion, psychological safety, technical excellence, and speed
  • Guide architectural decisions across backend, frontend, and mobile systems with a focus on scalability and resilience
  • Foster career growth through regular feedback, mentoring, and performance development for engineers and managers
  • Balance long-term technical vision with short-term deliverables and operational excellence
  • Contribute to hiring and onboarding processes, focusing on building a diverse and representative team
What You Bring
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams of 40+ members across iOS, Android, and server platforms, including managing other managers
  • A strong technical foundation with the ability to engage in architectural decisions and drive system-level thinking
  • Proven ability to scale and lead inclusive, high-performing teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated success aligning technical execution with product and business strategy across multiple product areas
Benefits at Lyft
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Mental health and wellness support
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Unlimited PTO for salaried employees, plus 12 company holidays
  • 18 weeks of paid parental leave (biological, adoptive, and foster parents welcome)
  • Fertility and family building support
  • Pre-tax commuter and transit benefits
  • Lyft Pink membership – get access to new rideshare perks before anyone else
