THE MISSION

The Architecture Lead is instrumental in shaping and optimizing an organization's infrastructure, systems, and technology strategy. Their responsibilities encompass strategic planning, technology management, SaaS rationalization and oversight of the entire architecture landscape. The Architecture leader will be pivotal in supporting a team-based, collaborative, high performance innovative culture.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE:

In the role of our seasoned Architecture Lead, specializing in SaaS applications, rationalization, governance, and the design and development of modern, resilient, scalable, and secure technology architecture to meet both immediate and long-term business objectives, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading profound transformations. Your strategic acumen and leadership will be instrumental in guiding us towards the following accomplishments:

  • Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a forward-thinking technology architecture vision, strategy, and execution plan that aligns with business goals and enables growth, operational efficiencies, and a secure and scalable foundation for SaaS applications.
  • Business Domain: Deep functional expertise in SaaS applications, aligning with business areas such as Marketing, GTM, Sales, Customer Success, Services, Finance, HR, Operations to shape a future state architecture driven by efficient end-to-end processes.
  • Design Thinking: Lead from a design thinking approach to reimagine and optimize architecture and processes, ensuring they are aligned with modern business needs and security standards.
  • Technology: Leverage technical expertise to identify the right SaaS solutions, tools, and capabilities that support business demands and processes. Rationalize and optimize the SaaS application landscape for a secure, scalable, and cost-effective architecture.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Identify opportunities to leverage data and insights for optimizing business processes and shaping the future of data-driven decision-making, supporting secure and efficient architecture.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders to align on broader organizational objectives, ensuring that technology architecture supports business goals and outcomes.
  • Execution: Lead with a focus on agile development, speed, and scalability, delivering incremental capabilities and accelerating value realization through a modern and robust architecture.
  • Change Management Excellence: Challenge the status quo, support fresh perspectives, and lead change initiatives. Define change management strategies to ensure user adoption, value realization, and a smooth transition to new technologies and experiences.
  • Vendor and Partner Collaboration: Drive innovation through vendor partnerships, negotiate advantageous contracts, and leverage industry contacts to support a modern and secure architecture.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the technology architecture and develop contingency plans to mitigate them effectively, safeguarding our digital initiatives and SaaS applications.
  • Innovation and Best Practices: Introduce industry best practices and innovative ideas to continually evolve the end-to-end technology architecture, ensuring it remains secure, scalable, and aligned with modern business needs.

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

To excel in this role, you'll need to bring the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in digital transformation, strategic leadership, technology implementation, and value realization within the realms of SaaS & AI applications, rationalization, governance, and modern, secure, and scalable architecture.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change in a dynamic environment, particularly within the context of evolving technology architecture.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SaaS applications, with a focus on Reach to Retention (Marketing, Sales, GTM, Customer Success, Renewals, Support & Services) and Order to Revenue (CPQ, Billing, Revenue), Infrastructure, Security & Data areas, as well as familiarity with new & emerging technology trends.
  • Change Management: Proficiency in defining and executing change management strategies, ensuring smooth transitions during technology adoptions, especially within the framework of architecture enhancements.
  • Innovation: A proven track record of introducing innovative ideas and leveraging best practices to drive growth and operational excellence through advanced technology architecture.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, particularly in the context of shaping technology landscapes.
  • Vendor Management: Expertise in negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and selecting appropriate technology solutions to support the organization's architecture goals.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically, align digital initiatives with business goals, and drive positive outcomes by developing a secure, scalable architecture.
  • Systems Thinking: Proficiency in systems thinking to understand the interconnectedness of experience, processes, technology, and data within the context of modern architecture design.
  • User-Centric Approach: Experience in designing user-centric experiences and solutions that enhance the organization's day-to-day operations and work processes, with a focus on SaaS applications.
  • Process Optimization: Expertise in optimizing workflows and processes to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of tools and systems, particularly in the context of technology architecture.
  • Technology Integration: The ability to integrate various technologies seamlessly to create a cohesive and holistic environment that aligns with modern, secure architecture standards.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Demonstrated capability to leverage data insights for informed decision-making and continuous improvement, with a particular focus on architecture decisions.
  • Mentorship: Experience in leading, mentoring, and guiding teams, fostering professional growth and development, especially within the scope of architecture and technology advancements.

The base pay range for this position is only one element of a candidate's total rewards package, which may also include bonuses/variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
