Our Opportunity: 

Chewy is on a mission to be the most trusted and convenient destination for pet parents and partners everywhere. We are seeking a talented Executive Assistant to support executive leaders located at our headquarters in Plantation, Florida. You will provide high-quality administrative, organizational, and technical assistance to our General Counsel and the Legal, Risk and Corporate Responsibility team. The primary duties include daily operations, calendar, project management, and support of communications for key company executives. To be successful in this role, you must be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, proactive, able to meet deadlines, communicate effectively and demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Perform foundational EA responsibilities such as 
    • High volume calendaring via Microsoft Outlook for multiple leaders
    • Act as the primary liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders
    • Plan department and corporate events (virtual and onsite)
    • Complete cycle meeting execution: planning, preparation, execution, and follow up action tracking
    • Make and track travel arrangements
    • Compile, submit, and track expense reports
  • Provide support with leadership team meetings or events, including capturing meeting briefs and summaries, handling critical logistic components, and ensuring appropriate follow-up
  • Assist with and sometimes lead the preparation or collection of content on behalf of leaders in partnership with key stakeholders (e.g., coordinate data gathering and data consolidation, draft/refine decks)  
  • Support and sometimes lead special assignments and projects on a variety of issues requested by the leaders’ respective leadership teams 

 What You'll Need: 

  • 5+ years of related experience supporting VPs and/or C-level executives
  • Adapts well to changing plans and priorities; comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Knowledge of office procedures
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and office management systems
  • Familiarity with online calendars and cloud systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and collaborate with individuals at all levels in and out of the organization (phone, virtual, email, and in-person)
  • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
  • Ability to problem solve, prioritize work, and think critically with minimal supervision 
  • Have a solution oriented, ‘can-do’ attitude and remain steady under pressure 
  • Position may require travel
