Position Description:
The ANZ Field Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Head of ANZ Field Marketing to execute strategic programs with cross-functional teams to build pipeline across ANZ. These plans will align closely with the Regional Sales Directors, Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Channel Sales and the broader Go-to-Market team. You will help drive execution of regional field events, programs and campaigns; and work with our partners to drive business value.
You will serve as one of the primary liaisons between the SDR team, the Field Sales team and Marketing. This role, reporting to the Head of ANZ Field Marketing, will generate awareness and create demand using a variety of marketing vehicles and tactics including, but not limited to, account-targeted programs, regional and national tradeshows, conferences and professional associations, targeted field events, demand campaigns and assets, direct mail and webinars. Their primary objective is to move accounts through the sales pipeline and accelerate the sales cycle for prospects.
You are a results-oriented marketer that gets things done and a roll up your sleeves type of person. The role will require shown ability to effectively work harmoniously with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Team up with Field and Partner Marketing teams to help Okta Sales deliver on annual revenue pipeline and balance pipeline objectives through the execution of various field / regional events, programs and campaigns and help facilitate lead funnel management across all activities.
- Help manage & monitor regional campaigns, programs and event properties, assets, collateral for tradeshows, events, sales & field events. Work closely with Sales on all pre-event prep.
- Execute on event strategy, tactical plans and project manage all logistics, onsite execution and post event analysis for our participation.
- Coordinate pre-to-post show event marketing strategies and collect post-event feedback and develop post event reports and analysis.
- Effectively work cross-functionally - you will help define, project manage and execute on event program goals, messaging, tactics, audience generation/email campaigns, speaker plan, collateral, post-show leads processing & follow-up and other logistics.
- Help with the research and development of events, sponsorships, face to face marketing platforms that align to corporate goals.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years in program, event creation and campaign management. Experience marketing to B2B organisations. Marketing to an IT audience is preferred.
- Master of multi-tasking, prioritisation, and timelines and has a consistent track record of complex event programs with dynamic partners, multiple product lines, and representing various cross teams within the organisation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Invoices and all aspects of pre-event procurement and post-event reconciliation.
- Thrives in rapid growth, energising environment and adapts well to change
- Great teammate with a positive attitude.
- Project management including budgets, venue selection, vendor sourcing and management, project plan, event show flow, promotion and registration, content development, on-site management.
- Experience with sales and marketing automation systems – Asana, Salesforce and Marketo, a plus.
- Travel up to 30%
