THE ROLE:This is a unique opportunity to join the Blenheim Chalcot portfolio as a Finance Manager, where you'll play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of cutting-edge GenAI-enabled tech ventures. You'll work closely with senior leaders in India and the UK, owning end-to-end financial operations while contributing to high-impact decision-making in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Finance team and take ownership of financial operations, core accounting, and data support for tax & compliance, while also supporting FP&A and payroll processes. This role focuses on strong financial controls, high-quality data, and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and specialist teams.
Financial Operations & Accounting:
- Own day-to-day financial operations and month-end close.
- Prepare and review journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready accounting records.
- Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and data quality.
Tax & Compliance Support (Data & Coordination):
- Provide timely, accurate financial data, schedules, and reconciliations to support statutory, tax, and regulatory filings.
- Act as the primary finance contact for tax and compliance-related data queries.
- Support statutory and internal audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to data requests.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors as required.
FP&A Support
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting cycles.
- Assist with management reporting including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet analysis.
- Help analyse financial performance, risks, and key drivers.
Payroll & People Cost Understanding
- Oversee payroll inputs and reconciliations in collaboration with HR and payroll vendors.
- Ensure accuracy of payroll data and statutory deductions.
- Develop a strong understanding of people costs, incentives, and headcount planning.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with internal stakeholders to explain financial outcomes clearly.
- Work closely with Finance, Tax & Compliance, HR, and Legal teams.
- Proactively flag risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate will have a track record in delivering results while embracing change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role.
- Strong accounting foundation with hands-on experience in month-end close and reconciliations.
- Experience supporting tax, audit, or compliance processes from a data and coordination
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally ERP) and MS Office, especially Advanced Excel.
- Working knowledge of Indian GST and other tax laws.
- Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Good understanding of payroll processes and people costs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced finance environment.
Qualifications
- CPA / ACCA (or equivalent).
- MCom or MBA or CA
- 6–10 years of relevant finance experience across accounting, operations, and planning.
