YOUR MISSION

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive analyst to join our Fintech Payments Performance team. Do you thrive at the intersection of data, strategy, and partnerships? Are you excited by the challenge of ensuring seamless payment experiences across multiple regions and methods? Do you want to help scale a global payments ecosystem by analysing performance, driving partner collaboration, and supporting strategic initiatives? If your answer is YES, and you’re ready to be part of a high-impact team that powers payments for millions of users worldwide, we’d love to meet you!

THE JOURNEY

  • Monitor, analyse, and report on payment performance metrics (approval rates, costs, latency, error codes) across different markets, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), and payment methods.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, tables, and visualisations in Looker (and similar tools) to provide clarity on KPIs, SLAs, and partner performance.
  • Investigate and resolve payment performance issues - acting as the first escalation point, driving internal/external alignment, and ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Scope and support the enablement of new payment methods and providers, driving performance, regulatory compliance, and market expansion.
  • Conduct impact assessments and reconciliation analyses to evaluate new initiatives, performance issues, and cost implications.
  • Collaborate with product and finance to provide insights, support initiatives, and ensure alignment between performance and business goals.
  • Lead and contribute to calls with internal regional teams and external PSPs; prepare structured documentation, performance reviews, and action plans.
  • Stay ahead of payments trends and industry shifts (regulatory, technical, or market-related) to anticipate impacts and inform strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 1-3 years of experience in payments, fintech, analytics, or partner management (internships and entry-level experience count).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL; familiarity with Python or other analytical tools is a plus.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills - comfortable presenting insights to both technical and business audiences.
  • Curiosity and a problem-solving mindset, with a desire to learn and grow within payments and fintech.
  • Proficiency in English.
