As an International Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technologist, you will join a lean, fast-paced cross-functional team responsible for managing our International Safety Quality and Operational Compliance based in Berlin, supporting Factor_ operations. 

As part of your responsibilities as International Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technologist you’ll collaboratively work to mitigate risk, drive standards and operational excellence, while ensuring the consumer gets safe and high quality ingredients.

• Partner with the international procurement teams to support the implementation of the Food Safety and Quality strategy for products supplied to Factor_ manufacturing facilities.
• Deliver strategic and innovative projects to ensure supply of safe and good quality products to our Factor_ manufacturing facilities. 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by coordinating the sharing of information and best practice across HelloFresh Group regions.
• Build effective relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively evaluate key risks within the category and establish methodologies for mitigation.
• Regularly analyze customer complaint trends in product quality and packaging to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives through conducting root cause analysis within the supply chain through to our Factor_ manufacturing facilities. 
• Conduct supplier and product onboarding ensuring compliance to HelloFresh Group requirements. 
• Conduct food safety and quality audits to the HelloFresh Group standard at supplier production sites.
• Support Factor_ teams with any high level serious customer complaint investigations or recalls.
• Create templates and procedures to support standardized implementation of central policies.
• Role-model our HelloFresh Group values and the International Safety Quality and Operational Compliance vision

• Proven experience in a similar role within Food Manufacturing / Assembly / Distribution / Retail, with more than 2 years experience in a relevant industry. 
• Internal and External Audit experience desirable
• Knowledge of relevant Government Food Regulations (UK/ Wider Europe)
• In depth knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP and COSHH
• Level 4 award in Food safety or relevant qualification
• Intermediate/Advanced Google Suite Skills (G-sheets/MS Excel, G-doc/Word, and G-slides/PowerPoint)
• Strong stakeholder management skills. Able to work with various parties, communicate effectively and ensure their expectations and needs are met.
• Energy, enthusiasm, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude. 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Adept at data manipulation and analytics
• Embraces change, challenge and working in an autonomous way
• International experience desirable
• Excellent English skills required
