About the job

This position is needed to build innovative UI’s that set Twilio Communications apart from other vendors.

 

Twilio Communications is the leading software for sending messages programmatically.  The Data Services and Throughput organization builds AI enabled capabilities that separate Twilio from its competitors in messaging capabilities.  To support our end customers, we are looking for a Full Stack Engineer that can build compelling UI’s that take full advantage of these innovations.  

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Build Innovative UI’s that showcase Twilio’s AI-powered diagnostic capabilities and help customers problem solve.
  • Design, advise, and build with partner teams to ensure cohesive systems and console experience to serve customers.
  • Build automated testing capabilities that test full stack quality and scale.
  • Refine UX requirements and tests with product managers and user experience designers.
  • Deliver and iterate quickly on UI's to incrementally improve the customer experience.
  • Contribute to the team through the SDLC process and planning ceremonies.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3 - 6 years experience building full stack systems including UI’s, API’s, data storage systems, and supporting systems in production environments.
  • Understanding of key object-oriented programming principles, constantly used in practice
  • Experience with Java, and frameworks like Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React (or similar frameworks), HTML, CSS
  • Experience building APIs, taking into account that API contract is a critical part of a good customer experience
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with AWS services
 

Desired:

  • Experience with AI / ML systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Ability to communicate to a variety of stakeholders and partners, and to make decisions in an innovative and unproven space.

Location

This role will be remote, based in Colombia.

Travel
