For nearly 40 years, Naughty Dog has been crafting best-selling, critically acclaimed games that constantly push the boundaries of narrative, gameplay, and technology. Naughty Dog recently released The Last of Us Part II Remastered as well as a current generation remake of The Last of Us Part I for the PS5 . We're also proud to say that The Last of Us Part I is now available for the first time on PC. Currently, we’re busy at the kennel working on a brand-new single player game that we're excited about and we'd love to find talented individuals to join us. Naughty Dog games have long been lauded for their evocative, character-driven stories and attention to detail. Who we are looking for:

  • Contribute to the design of game mechanics and level scripting as well as prototype ideas using our in-house scripting language and other tools. Playtest and iterate on various mechanics and level scripting flow to create the best user experience possible.
  • Work closely with artists, animators, audio engineers and programmers to take ideas from conception to implementation.
  • Work directly with artists, programmers, animators, audio engineers and other game designers to contribute to the vision of the game.

What skills you will use: 

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interactive Media, Game Design, or in a related field
  • Two (2) years of experience in job offered, or as a Lead Gameplay Programmer, Technical Designer, or in a related occupation
  • Require strong programming skills in a high level of scripting language such as C# or Python, knowledge of vector mathematics and implementation in game engines.
At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below. $60,000—$120,000 USD
