Why We Have This Role

This role will manage a team of AP and Procurement Global Specialists who process all incoming vendor invoices, audit expense reports, assist vendors in using our procurement tools, and partner with both Procurement and Treasury teams to ensure timeliness and accuracy of our payments. This team owns critical SOX controls and is responsible for achieving SLA’s and KPI’s, including a strong relationship with the sales organization.

This leader will be a partner to Qualtrics stakeholders across the globe. They will love having a diverse set of responsibilities, and the ability to pivot quickly between various functions as business needs or weaknesses are identified. They will be extremely collaborative in finding solutions that work for both the financial needs of the company, as well as the needs of vendors and Qualtrics buyers.  Most importantly this leader will have a mindset of scale to allow our Shared Services Center, and the processes they execute, to keep up with the rapid growth at Qualtrics.

How You’ll Find Success
  • Manage a team of 10-15 AP and Procurement Specialists
  • Guide the team in setting up new AP processes to match business needs
  • Set and develop team member’s short term and long term career goals
  • Advise team on strong weekly, quarterly and yearly objectives and results
  • Assist with complex/highly visible cases & escalations
  • Optimize systems & processes for payments
  • Monitor accuracy of AP, Expense and Procurement activities, KPI’s and SLA’s
Things You’ll Do
  • Own and maintain dashboards (Tableau/Excel/PowerBI) 
  • Owns the overall performance of Global AP Team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver training & enablement across sales, finance and HR topics
  • Gain alignment on process improvements across various teams
  • Advise Qualtrics on best industry practices in the AP & Procurement landscape
  • Use data and analysis to identify opportunities to improve payment processes
  • Partner with product and tech to automate recurring processes to scale with the growth of the company
  • Represent the needs of team members, make sure everyone has fun and builds an overall strong team mindset
What We’re Looking For On YourCV
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
  • 6+ years of experience in finance and shared services related functions
  • 3+ years managing teams
  • Proven track record of engaging teams and providing strong employee experience
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner with teams in the US
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Coupa, Concur, or Netsuite is a plus
  • Skilled with reporting tools and ticketing systems
  • Adaptable, team player with a track record building and maintaining effective professional relationships
