About the Position:

Showpad is seeking a Global Director, IT to define and execute our global IT strategy and service delivery model. This role is responsible for leading global IT infrastructure, cloud operations, enterprise systems, end-user experience, cybersecurity, and service delivery to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing technology across all regions. This leader will align IT initiatives with corporate objectives, drive digital transformation, and build a high-performing global IT organization, that enables operational excellence, scalability, and business growth while working closely with the company leadership worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, own and execute Showpad’s global IT strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligning technology initiatives with corporate goals and long-term business priorities
  • Lead global IT operations, including infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, network performance, and end-user computing environments
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable IT services that support employees and business operations across North America, Europe, India, Australia as well as future global regions
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to modernize enterprise systems, enhance automation, and improve service delivery and operational efficiency
  • Lead and develop high-performing, geographically distributed IT teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Establish and monitor service levels, KPIs, and operational metrics to ensure service excellence, transparency, and continuous optimization
  • Strengthen Showpad’s global cybersecurity posture and ensure compliance with regulatory and security frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and SOC 2
  • Lead complex, cross-functional IT initiatives and enterprise system implementations, including ERP, identity management, and infrastructure modernization
  • Own global IT budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimization to ensure efficient resource allocation and financial discipline
  • Negotiate and manage strategic relationships with technology vendors and service providers to maximize value, performance, and scalability
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to align IT capabilities with evolving business needs and strategic priorities
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to the COO and executive team on IT performance, risk management, investment priorities, and roadmap execution

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in IT, including at least 5 years in senior IT leadership roles within a global organization
  • Proven experience developing and executing enterprise IT strategy and leading large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Deep expertise in enterprise applications, SaaS environments, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), network infrastructure, identity management, and cybersecurity
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing global IT budgets, forecasting, and vendor contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated success building, scaling, and leading global IT teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments, preferably within SaaS or technology organizations
  • Strong strategic thinking and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience with IT service management and project delivery frameworks such as ITIL, PMP, or equivalent preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally as needed
