YOUR MISSION

We are seeking a Google Ads / DV360 expert to help us develop the online video branding strategy and execution across the globe out of HQ in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Google Ads, DV360 etc. 

You will lead a newly created set-up and team hence requiring a strong operational role (50%-60%) and hands-on experience as well as a strategic one. Your primary responsibilities will be setting up, executing and reporting branding video on demand campaigns, analyzing the results to identify patterns and trends that can help us improve the efficiency of our video branding deployment. 

You bring a lot of best practices and empirical experience on measuring online video branding campaigns on business outcomes and possessing strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the online branding platforms, strategies and tooling. Be a part of a team where you will possessing:

THE JOURNEY

Leadership skills to: 

  • Clearly and concisely define and communicate the video online marketing strategy, goals, tasks, and other organizational needs to your team.  
  • Bring your team closer together by encouraging collaboration and facilitating healthy working relationships between employees
  • Take an innovative approach to problem-solving by approaching these obstacles from new and unconventional perspectives. 
  • Mentoring your team, recognizing accomplishments, giving honest feedback, conducting performance reviews, including giving honest feedback on areas of improvement
  • Share knowledge on the latest industry trends and developments and how to implement them at Glovo 
  • Foster a performance-driven and highly engaged team to meet and exceed on company and unit OKRs. 
  • Prepare onboarding material for  new team members and guide them through the induction to the operational stage. 
  • Be a hands-on leader to run and own the entire operations of the business along with the individual contributors. 
  • You are responsible for developing managers and individual contributors, hiring and training new hires working on Google Ads.
  • Ensure accountability and reliability in team performance and project deliverables, setting clear expectations and monitoring progress.

Strategic and Operational Acumen to:  

  • Own the strategic and operational aspects of online video branding campaigns globally; act as the subject matter expert when it comes to online video planning mastering Google Ad / DV360 leaning on Google Analytics and first party data for informed decision making.  
  • Lead the global online video branding team to create campaigns aligned to business and communication objectives, working closely with cross-functional teams across local markets and at HQ to align on business priorities. 
  • Establish the online video strategy and help scale efficient online branding campaigns with excellent execution parameters aligning them to other Top Funnel media channels. 
  • Ensure campaigns are executed based on best practices, powered with efficient optimization opportunities. 
  • Recommend untapped branding online video opportunities that are effective and drive business results. 
  • Implement a performance and reporting cadence including setting and tracking KPIs that lead to tangible business results, aligned with the global top funnel media team. 
  • Set the annual brand lift strategy per market based on awareness trends in each market and configure campaign objectives accordingly. 
  • Drive and lead budgeting/forecasting, vendor alignment, experimentation,  short term execution and long term vision.

Productivity and Governance skills to: 

  • Design marketing automation needs  in collaboration with ad-tech, conduct regular performance checks and periodic business reviews to surface. opportunities/action-plans.
  • Implement and update standard operating procedures, processes, templates, and checklists to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Apply rigorous quality assurance checkpoints to all accounts and tasks to ensure on-target deliverables.
  • Upgrade current processes and ways of working with global markets to improve productivity 
  • You will report directly to the Global Head of Brand Media.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • At least 5+ years of work experience in Growth/marketing role (primarily leading Google Video teams) in a pure-play ecommerce or mobile marketplace (local, travel, hail riding, food delivery) with international experience
  • Highly technical, analytical and experimentation driven; 
  • You live and breathe: Audience selection, bidding strategies, attribution (web and mobile), tracking, incrementality testing, different ad formats
  • You are comfortable in working with OKRs, tracking/ reporting on established performance marketing KPIs and turning insights into actions
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects 
  • Hands-on: Alternating between communicating your vision, the channel strategy and rolling up your sleeves to show how it's done, is not foreign to you. 
  • Fluent in English
