As a Senior Manager on the Growth Marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to engage users in large enterprise accounts during onboarding and help accelerate their time to value with MongoDB Atlas. In this role, you have expertise in dynamic, personalized messaging in the product and touch-points involving mediums such as email, in-product banners/tooltips, SMS, and push notifications. You are obsessed with customer success and advocate for them as much as you work to accelerate their journey on the MongoDB developer data platform.

You have a solid, cross-functional knowledge of the customer journey, including acquisition, onboarding, adoption, engagement, and monetization strategies and tactics. You also have experience in marketing to developers to drive early-stage planning through to cross-functional execution. You possess strong communication and collaboration skills.

This is a highly visible role that requires a change agent with natural leadership skills and the ability to work across multiple teams with members at different levels. You are adept at thinking strategically and tactically to get things done by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Product Management, Data Analytics, and Customer Success. 

We are looking for an individual who is a problem solver, detail-oriented, collaborative, creative, data-driven, strategic, organized, and a trusted partner. This role can be based in NYC or remote US.

In particular, you will:
  • Partner with other growth marketers, Analytics, Marketing Operations, Growth Product, Customer Success, and Product Marketing to accelerate time to value for MongoDB Atlas users in large accounts through the creation of personalized digital experiences
  • Compile content around large customer’s internal documentation, materials, and identify relevant MongoDB best practices in that account
  • Collaborate closely with the Product team to optimize user onboarding, setup, new user addition flows, and continuously optimize programs and channels through new surface areas, experiments and A/B tests
  • Perform strategic product, market, and customer analyses to uncover high-potential user segments and better understand their needs, identify new growth drivers or opportunities for improvement, and uncover and leverage new emerging channels to better personalize and accelerate new users added and decrease their time to value
  • Deeply assess the user and customer journey to identify, champion, and drive the cross-functional execution and elevation of capabilities that will yield greater leverage and scale in the business
  • Monitor, analyze, and report KPIs to ensure marketing initiatives reach revenue objectives
We’re looking for someone with…
  • 5+ years of B2D or B2B experience in growth marketing, growth product, and/or lifecycle marketing, ideally in SaaS/Self-Serve. Product-led growth and 2+ years of experience in marketing to a technical audiencedesired
  • Drive to provide the best possible experience to our users
  • Deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies
  • Understanding of how to drive customer engagement and product usage through value-based marketing
  • Understanding of and appreciation for the big picture (market, customers, company) but also the details to successfully scale programs
  • Passion to objectively measure your efforts and only make decisions based on data
  • A positive, collaborative mindset - you love working with others and incorporating relevant feedback
  • An owner mentality - you take complete ownership of your work and champion efforts to get things to completion

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$84,000—$165,000 USD
