As Head of Inventory at HelloFresh's Barleben facility, you'll be the mastermind behind the smooth flow of ingredients, ensuring their timely arrival, optimal storage, and precise delivery to production lines. This critical role demands a keen eye for detail, a strategic mind, and the ability to lead a dedicated team towards shared goal

This role is based in Barleben  and reporting into Site Lead

•  Lead inbound operations: Streamline receiving, ensure product accuracy, and collaborate with procurement for timely deliveries
• Foster strong supplier relationships: Partner with procurement to secure smooth product flow and negotiate optimal terms
• Champion clear communication: Proactively keep stakeholders informed and facilitate collaboration across departments
•  Coach and mentor your team, fostering a culture of accountability and problem-solving
•  Maintain inventory health: Monitor stock levels, proactively address discrepancies, and ensure compliance with regulations
•  Implement FEFO practices, leverage technology for real-time inventory visibility, and maximise storage capacity 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment, ideally with exposure to kitting and/or food handling processes
• Proven track record of optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving production line efficiency
• Enjoy analysing data to identify trends, predict challenges, and make data-driven decisions
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively across departments
• A long-term mindset committed to business impact 
• Fluent German & English skills
