Role: Head of Key Accounts

Location: Old Trafford, M16 0PQ

Hours: 8.45am - 5.15pm Monday - Friday (some flexibility required to support global markets)

Salary: £45,000 base (up to £70,000 OTE)

As the Head of Key Accounts for PHMG, you will be the driving force behind the strategic direction and operational excellence of your department. Your leadership will be integral to the management and development of a high-performing team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client experiences.

In this role, you will oversee a team of eight Key Account Managers, each responsible for managing a portfolio of our most prestigious accounts, spanning both longstanding partnerships and newly acquired clients from our adept sales division. By working closely with creative and technical teams, your leadership will facilitate superior service delivery and client consultations tailored to their evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making informed decisions about your team, clients, and strategic direction of the department, setting a strong example as a visible role model for Key Accounts
  • Demonstrating flexibility in adapting plans as circumstances change, presenting with a motivational style that keeps the team engaged and motivated.
  • Staying calm and focused on achieving objectives, delivering high-quality results, and overcoming obstacles. Analysing and adjusting quickly when challenges arise.
  • Clearly communicating the 'why' behind any change, providing a vision of improvement and personal benefits for your team.
  • Identifying patterns in data, translating key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics into a clear and simple 'data story.' Asking questions to address underlying issues and mitigate risks.
  • Emphasising team culture, showcasing PHMG values such as passion, hard work, continuous improvement, and investment in skills and personal development.

Strategic Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the voice of Key Accounts, equally comfortable with long-term strategy and hands-on client service. Creating plans for future success and intervening when necessary for improvement.
  • Ensuring the team align with your vision, acting on your behalf with a detailed understanding of your goals.
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, sharing market knowledge and fostering mutual respect in line with PHMG's growth plans.
  • Reporting monthly on the health of your client base, making informed decisions based on data and insight.
  • Holding yourself accountable for role-modelling expected behaviours and values, leading with trust and integrity.
