Your mission

As the Head of Program Scoping in the Individual Solutions team, you operate at the interface of business and technology and work backwards from customer challenges to identify and plan game-changing AI Programs for our customers. You don’t accept AI for the sake of AI but only as an application to improve the status quo across our customers’ organizations. You work closely with our Sales and Marketing Teams and navigate our technical portfolio to identify AI opportunities for customers. As you lead all of our business development and sales endeavors, you will collaborate closely with our AI Program Managers and AI Engineering Managers and utilize a diverse ecosystem of external partners to scope best possible proposals for our customers. 

  • You focus on strategically working together with our partners & customers across industries to enhance their business and operational outcomes by supporting them to reach their ambitious AI goals through scoping and compiling  tailored AI programs and solutions for them.
  • You possess the ability to evaluate and comprehend customer needs and requirements in the context of AI, translating them into a customized program that enhances customer engagement throughout the sales process.
  • You manage the entire Individual Solutions team’s sales pipeline and coordinate opportunities across the organization
  • You create and maintain high quality solution proposals and present them to customers’ senior management.
  • You strongly contribute to the professionalization of the Individual Solutions Strategy, Solutions Portfolio and Program Delivery.
  • You insist on the highest standards for customer interactions, you build deep and trustworthy relationships with customers and identify additional AI opportunities to advance customers to the next AI maturity level.
  • As appliedAI continues to grow, you shape and hire the team to accomplish the mission of the role in the long term.

Your profile

  • You combine the best of strategic customer relationship management with a strong bias for delivering measurable results for customers. 
  • You have gained multiple years of experience as a Technical Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Management Consultant, or comparable - ideally in the field of AI.
  • You were in charge of scoping and selling a multi-million Euro portfolio of service delivery engagements. 
  • You are a strong networker and enjoy building deep and trustful relationships within the organization to compile best possible solutions for customers. 
  • You have the ambition to look beyond the technology and you are able to translate the impact of AI to senior customer stakeholders in their own language (“Why, How, When”).
  • You work best in a high-performing team and have the drive & willingness to learn new things and to continuously improve yourself and appliedAI.
  • Fluent German and English is required .
