The HRIS ServiceNow HRSD Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of People & Places Digital Solutions, this role will play a critical role in working with our People and Places (P&P)  teams to analyze, design, and optimize their HR service delivery processes using the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) module. You will collaborate closely with the stakeholders and Business Technology teams to understand the HR needs, configure the ServiceNow platform to meet those needs, and provide expertise on best practices in HRSD.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Facilitate the implementation of Employee Center Pro and migrate knowledge articles into SNOW
  • Provide guidance on best practices for HRSD process design and configuration
  • Integrate ServiceNow HRSD with other HR systems and third-party applications as needed to create seamless end-to-end processes
  • Leads content management within SNOW and can administer the HRSD practices that relate to the creation of Knowledge Articles, Templates, topics and microsites within SNOW
  • Proficient in building Reports and dashboards within SNOW including PErformance Analytics
  • Collaborate with P&P stakeholders to understand requirements and pain points in the service delivery processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Design, configure, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow HRSD module to automate and optimize HR processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HRSD solutions with other systems as needed
  • Be comfortable and confident with gathering configuration requirements
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and training activities
  • Stay current with ServiceNow HRSD updates and enhancements to provide informed recommendations to clients
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ServiceNow solutions to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow HR service delivery applications, including monitoring system health and addressing user inquiries or issues
  • Customize ServiceNow HRSD workflows, forms, and interfaces to align with HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills capable of assessing complex business requirements from real world scenarios and the ability to translate them into actionable target architectures, readily understood models and architectural plans
  • Deep technical proficiency while the ability to keeping an eye on the bigger picture
  • Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies, architectures, standards & processes, and a good understanding of infrastructure engineering processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Relationships

  • Be a conduit between the People and Business Technology teams to answer questions or escalate issues as needed; Foster best practice discussions among Centers Of Excellence and end users to realize process improvements and workforce efficiencies.
  • Work with the Business Technology teams and Centers Of Excellence to ensure new processes, system enhancements and integrations are properly tested and documented
  • Good relationship building, facilitation & influencing skills, and experience of leveraging these on business leadership contexts
  • Develop and maintain a governance structure that effectively manages the recommendations from Centers Of Excellence with Human Resource employee experience guidelines for global service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and knowledge that enhance the overall capabilities of the organization

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 5+ years of experience configuring HRSD SNOW 
  • Strong expertise in EC Portal Pro and HRSD Workflows
  • Experience of supporting SNOW system upgrades, implementations, go-lives and post go-live technical support.
  • Strong technology aptitude and interest in research, data, metrics, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, remaining agile and flexible in a challenging environment and managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to understand the business requirements, user needs and translate them into operational requirements.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and with highly confidential data
  • Working knowledge of HR information systems, including experience in designing, building, and testing processes/reports in various HR applications
  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$103,000—$172,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $128,000—$192,000 USD
