Industry Solutions Senior Specialist, Solutions Assurance

We are looking for passionate technologists to join our Solutions Assurance Team based in Barcelona, as a part of our growing Industry Solutions Team (IST), a remote/flexible, globally-dispersed team.
Our objective is to align MongoDB as an optimized platform for AI solutions and ensure we understand enterprise clients and their needs to drive modernization through artificial intelligence.
The responsibilities of this role include testing AI integrations, documenting and communicating best practices while working with our business partners on validating the integration of their software components with the MongoDB ecosystem.

What you do at MongoDB- Work with our business partners on validating the integration of their software components with the MongoDB ecosystem, e.g. security software, backup, GenAI or IOT/MQTT - this is a wide space and you become an expert in one or more subject areas
- You document the results of the testing and in collaboration with the rest of the team develop best practices for this integration through quick notes and integration instructions that can range from screenshots to more elaborate background papers
- You partner with the rest of the Industry Solutions team to help ensure success in accounts ranging from small startups to large enterprises (i.e customizing solutions, client presentations, client-specific content, etc.)
- You are able to communicate and assist about specific integrations with field and other parts of the organization (you are NOT Technical Support for the products)
- You proactively seek opportunities to support and mentor other team members and share best practices

- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the tech sector, or relevant technical experience in other sectors
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new industries
- Scripting skills and programming skills with a solid understanding of operation layer architectures
- A balance of technical knowledge as well as communication/presentation skills
- A foundational knowledge of data, data science, data analytics, and/or data engineering (you will become more of an expert on the job!)
- A diverse experience or interest two context switch between different environments and requirements, e.g. backup software and GenAI
- The ability to manage and work with multiple stakeholders effectively
- A pro-active, self-starter with the drive to learn new skills and become an expert in that field
- A strong sense of team-work working towards a common goal with process-oriented skills
- A Master’s degree or equivalent work experience in the tech sector
- Experience with databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers or database vendors
- Experience with database programming and data models
- Experience in integration testing with: Postman, Selenium, SoapUI, Cucumber
- Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI, CircleCI, Github Actions, Bamboo, Docker
- Experienced with Infrastructure as code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- A MongoDB Certification
- Proficiency in more than one language
- Working in a fast-paced tech company and being integrated into a “can-do” team where responsibility for your own work and intellectual honesty are crucial
- The rapidly expanding MongoDB product suite, including
- Atlas (fully managed cloud database service)
- Atlas Search
- MANY other tools and connectors
- Exposure to a wide variety of market verticals and a broad spectrum of interesting use cases.
- Cross-industry tech modernization understanding
- Understanding of product and program management in a fast moving tech company
- Process thinking, planning and project management skills
- Sales engagement models, sales qualification in a global company
