Through a robust relationship with the CISO this role ensures the safeguarding of the organization's digital assets, ensures the reliability and performance of the IT infrastructure and enables essential operations dependent on technology dependent business processes.

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE

• Support the Security and Infrastructure Director in the development and implementation of a robust security plan that protects the organization's digital assets, and protects from unauthorized access, breaches and cyber threats
• The building of coordinated plans with the Zuora CISO to leverage security solutions and best practices across the organization
• Enablement and management of tools that improve the overall organization's security posture
• An improved cost effective AWS and onsite infrastructure supporting the needs of the organization
• The completion and maintenance of a robust policy library of IT security policies in coordination with the CISO
• Actively work with surrounding teams to develop and implement efficient security solutions that can be maintained at low cost
• The development and maintenance of relationships with key vendors providing key technologies and resources contributing to the organization’s success
• Bring new physical locations online with network infrastructure in addition to upgrading and maintaining network infrastructure in current locations
• The curation of a high performing team of security and infrastructure professionals providing mentorship, clear objectives, guidance and development opportunities

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing IT security and infrastructure teams
• Deep knowledge of security subject areas including intrusion detection, access control, encryption and security policies
• Cybersecurity expertise - principles, technologies and best practices
• Strong knowledge of current and emerging threats and vulnerabilities
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards (GDPR, ISO 27001)
• Proficiency in designing, implementing and maintaining network infrastructures
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services
• Ability to develop, implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures
• Strong problem management skills, the ability to be a strong escalation manager that can personally run major incidents
• Excellent conceptual, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees
• Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiations
