We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Instructional Designer to develop and coordinate sales learning experiences for Commercial teams across Trustpilot. The primary objective is to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and understanding in an effective, scalable and captivating manner. 

As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing instructional materials, incorporating instructional design principles and technologies. Your experience in curriculum development and instructional strategies will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality sales learning experiences. Ultimately, your role will contribute to the development of Commercial trustees by encouraging their growth and development through well-designed and impactful instructional programs. This position offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the learning journey of commercial team members.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partner with the enablement team as well as SMEs across the Trustpilot to understand, plan and define requirements for sales learning journeys. 
  • Consult where required to ensure sales learning journeys deliver the desired results 
  • Create engaging sales learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
  • Develop exercises and activities that enhance the sales learning process outside of systems e.g. scenario-based practice
  • Work with the enablement team to stay ahead of the target audience’s training needs
  • Support the creation of course targets and measurement in collaboration with enablement SMEs
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
  • Drive alignment on the criteria used to measure a learner’s knowledge retention and adoption of developing assessment instruments to track progress
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders
  • Develop the Sales Enablement team branding elements and templates
  • Recommend new tools and services that could further enhance our sales learner’s experience and/or sales enablement efficiency
  • Track and report on completion and satisfaction of sales learning journeys and content

Who you are:

  • Extensive experience in instructional design and instructional technology
  • Experience in designing for Commercial/sales teams is valued 
  • Thorough knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
  • Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
