INTEGRATION & TEST SPECIALIST (FALCON) 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the build and test of structural, pneumatic, and hydraulic subassemblies.
  • Assist in the maintenance and further development of test fixtures, test setups, and test stands to be used in production, and/or for development
  • Support dispositions of non-conforming hardware on the production floor, and drive root cause analysis and solution implementation
  • Develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures and planning
  • Fabricate or build any of the following in accordance to the defined specifications:
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Perform tests independently, or with Engineers, according to test procedures and design requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop and document test procedures
  • Work directly with production technicians and operators to resolve process deviations or support production feedback
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Support anomaly investigations and work towards resolution
  • Assist in the tracking, procurement and servicing of critical calibrated instrumentation and spare hardware
  • Create and perform asset maintenance plans
  • Instrumentation including DAQ hardware and wire harnesses
  • Electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing technician, planning, or direct support role
  • 1+ years of experience creating and/or working with manufacturing planning or build process instructions (school or project experience will be considered)

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to read and understand electro-mechanical schematics
  • Ability to read and understand Plumbing and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
  • Ability to read mechanical assembly drawings and blue prints
  • Take products through development cycle to full volume production, and design for manufacturability and assembly
  • Ability to solve complex manufacturing problems on schedule with little to no supervision as an individual or as a member of an integrated team
  • Experience managing lean manufacturing tools, PFMEA, value chain mapping, Kanban, OEE, and 5S
  • Ability to fabricate high pressure plumbing systems, including: tube flaring, tube bending, and cone-&-threading
  • Ability to fabricate mechanical components and assemblies, including: milling, drilling, turning, and torqueing
  • Knowledge/experience operating and maintaining pneumatic and hydraulic components, including: valves, regulators, and accumulators
  • Knowledge/experience operating basic machine shop equipment, including: sanders, grinders, saws, and benders
  • Knowledge/experience with test operations procedures including hydraulic load control, hydro/pneumatic pressure control, and safe handling of flight parts
  • Knowledge/experience with high pressure or cryogenic systems (gaseous and liquid)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Available shifts:
    • Split shift: M-F 1:00pm - 11:00pm
    • 2nd shift: M-F 3:30pm - 2:00am
    • Weekend 1st shift: F- M 6:00am - 6:00pm 
    • Weekend 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 3:00am
  • Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:Integration & Test Specialist/Level 1: $30.00 - $38.00/hourIntegration & Test Specialist/Level 2: $34.00 - $43.00/hourIntegration & Test Specialist/Level 3: $38.00 - $48.00/hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
