✅The Role
This role sits within the People team developing and executing communication plans for Corsearch with a key focus on writing communications for various channels and audiences.
The successful candidate will work with members of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to deliver company-wide communications which are aligned to the We are Corsearch purpose, vision, mission and values and our strategic priorities.
This is a very hands-on role which will suit someone with a strong copywriting background as they will be thecontent engine for all online and offline channels including the intranet, Viva Engage, the weekly news channel, townhall meetings, customer communications as well as cascades and other regular communications originating from the leadership teams.
✅Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop internal communication plans in line with our strategic priorities for functions, projects or specific business areas
- Support the CEO and ELT with their communications: drafting messages, identifying the most suitable delivery channels, execute distribution
- Own content development and tactical delivery of monthly town hall meetings (Corum), Senior Leadership Team meetings (SLT Live) and annual colleague conference
- Channel management including STAR, our recognition platform to ensure optimal usage
- Awards submission copywriting
- Support customer communications: development of key messages, narrative development and implementation
- Ensure measurement of communication effectiveness
- Modernise the communication channels and ensure they are suitable for the colleague demographic
- Engage actively with Marketing to ensure the internal and external messaging are aligned and the EVP impact is maximised
✅Essential
- Outstanding, demonstrable high quality written and verbal communication skills in fluent English; background in copywriting advantageous
- Previous experience in a similar internal communications role in a corporate or agency environment with a solid understanding of channel and audience management
- Credible in stakeholder management, relationship building and ability to manage demanding and challenging schedules
- Èxcellent understanding of, and interest in technology, social media and the impact developing technology is having on communications
- Ability to credibly educate stakeholders about the value of good practice internal communication
- A team player with a collaborative approach
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A sound understanding of Corsearch’s business and wider industry issues, or the ability to rapidly acquire it
- Dynamic and engaging with all colleagues and credible with senior leaders
