Internal Communications Manager

 

Why We Have This Role

Qualtrics is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join its Global Communications team. In this role, you will work with key business units to align internal communications to key company messages.

You will create and execute a strategy to communicate our company priorities and help tell stories of our impact -- from new product launches to key company initiatives. In this role, you’ll develop both written and visual communications for functional and company-wide audiences.

You’ll partner with key business units and company leaders to form a regular cadence of content and create meaningful moments that engage and enable employees.

 

How You’ll Find Success

  • The ideal candidate has a strong executive presence, is calm under pressure and can be both strategic and scrappy depending on what the situation calls for. You should be passionate about writing and designing visual communications for impact. You’ll  play a critical role in connecting our employees to the company’s mission and values, helping them understand our most important priorities and messages, and ensuring they know where to go for the information they need.
  • The job requires someone who is detail oriented and capable of managing numerous projects and work streams end-to-end, with a keen sense of prioritization and the ability to consistently produce high-quality work. Experience developing and executing communication plans and writing and producing impressive visual content is essential.

Things You’ll Do

  • Play a key role in producing our bi-weekly company all hands (GTQ) including creating a thoughtful agenda based on our employees’ needs, working with stakeholders to develop content and helping build beautiful visuals.
  • Create communications plans, targeted written communications and live events that help our employees understand our vision and strategy and receive the information they need to be successful in their jobs.  
  • Create and develop messaging around various topics, including company strategy, priorities, and announcements.
  • Work closely with Product, UX and Engineering leaders on internal communications, including crafting announcements and talking points.

 

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline, with experience in storytelling and proactive communications
  • 6+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or executive communications
  • Ability to communicate information to different stakeholder audiences in a way that is relevant to them
  • Experience with virtual and in-person events, including logistics and creative content development
  • Ability to listen to and collaborate effectively across teams and build consensus among multiple internal stakeholders
  • Exceptional writing, visual communications, and editing skills, with the ability to articulate details in clear, concise communications
  • Ability to problem solve and exercise high judgment
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and pivot quickly in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
