Team:

In our Munich-based app analysis Java team we work on tools to automatically analyze Android apps. Our software is based on our open source bytecode manipulation library ProGuardCORE ( https://github.com/Guardsquare/proguard-core ) for static analysis, and on own tooling for dynamic analysis.

Project:

In this internship you will investigate and implement different approaches to visualize call graphs from a specific location to a different location in an Android app. A good visualization helps to easily understand under which conditions certain locations are executed. You will investigate different approaches for the tradeoff between showing many details, and having an understandable visualization.

Profile:

• Experience with Java or Python
• Interest in code analysis
• Ability to independently perform structured research into a topic
