Your mission

As IOT Device Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of the User Terminal Manager (UTM) within the Rivada Space Networks system. The UTM represents a critical interface between the operators and our float of UTs, enabling seamless operation of the constellation through SW updates, monitoring, and secure connectivity. The IOT Device Manager sits within the Ground Segment team and drives the management, procurement, and delivery of user terminal manager solution in collaboration with selected suppliers or supporting internal development. This role also ensures the UTM meets system and UT requirements while supporting optimization for network resources, performance, and customer satisfaction. This includes:

  • Definition of User Terminal Manager use cases, requirements, interfaces, and capabilities to comply with overall system requirements and user expectations
  • Support of UT supplier selection together with User Segment
  • Management of the UTM supplier selection and development management following Agile approach
  • Coordination of the development of UT software and hardware features, including integration with the network and ground segment components
  • Ensure UTM solutions incorporate key features such as SW update management, and monitoring
  • Facilitate communication with internal stakeholders, including OSS/BSS, system operations, and customer service teams, to ensure seamless integration and support
  • Provide product ownership leadership to internal engineering teams, aligning UTM roadmap and feature set to Rivada’s business goals and customer needs

What you bring on the table

  • University degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical management roles, specifically involving suppliers, product development, and engineering teams
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in satellite User Terminal (UT), Device Management or IoT design
  • Knowledge of Agile development, Network, Cloud infrastructure IoT services
  • Proven experience in managing software/hardware integration projects and cloud-based solutions
  • Understanding of OSS/BSS systems and standard interfaces required for operational workflows
  • Analytical mindset combined with strong communication and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multi-vendor relationships
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Self-starter mentality with a focus on delivering results and achieving technical excellence
